• Complete Diagnosis
  One of the unfortunate facts about oral health is that small problems almost always get bigger. Too many patients wait until pain or discomfort bring them through the door. Ashburn dental care employs the latest x-ray and digital imagery to insure that those little problems; like small cavities or the beginning of gum disease are revealed and treated so that our patients can avoid the pain and expense of more invasive dental treatments. The use of the DIAGNOdent a laser for detecting early cavities has revolutionized this process. Furthermore, we will map out individualized treatment plans that work within the schedules, insurance parameters and budgets of our patients.
• Prevention is key
  Fluoride Treatment can help prevent tooth decay and in some cases even reverse early decay. Ashburn Dental Care can also apply protective sealants, a special epoxy material that is applied to teeth that present a high risk for tooth decay. Once a tooth is sealed it is less likely to develop cavities in pits and grooves which are more susceptible to decay.
• Cosmetic Dentistry (for a smile you can feel good about)
  Teeth whitening is a quick and affordable way to improve smiles. We custom make whitening devices for our patients. We have made this an inexpensive option for our patients. Ashburn Dental Care works with premiere dental labs to deliver incredibly natural looking smiles. We also utilize our in-house CAD/CAM dental laboratory to make to make well quality controlled porcelain onlays and crowns.
• Ashburn Dental Care is also certified to offer INVISALIGN, a clear plastic aligner that is fitted to the teeth using a series of slightly different aligners until the teeth reach their optimal positioning.
• Restorative (Repairing Teeth)
  Ashburn Dental Care proudly employs some of the best technology in Northern Virginia with the latest CEREC system by Sirona. Using state-of-the-art CAD/CAM technology Ashburn Dental Care can craft all-ceramic dental restorations inside of one visit. Crown and Bridges, Tooth Color Restorations, Implant Restorations, Partial and Full Dentures. Ashburn Dental uses high qualtiy composite fillings for minor restorations (filling cavities).
  
• Endodontics (Root canal Treatments)
  Most root canal procedures can be performed in our office and with our CEREC technology we can usually complete a full treatment from start to crown in just two visits. If we can not perform you root canel in our office, we will consult with a specialist to make sure you get the best care dental care available in Ashburn, Virginia.
• Periodontics (Gum Treatment)
  Gum disease is a serious but often overlooked problem that can lead to tooth loss and other more serious complications. Ashburn Dental offers scaling and root planing to remove bacteria and other buildup from crevases surrounding teeth and invading gums. Cleaned teeth surfaces are then smoothed to allow for natural healthy gum reattachemnt.  Dr. Rizvi can also prescribe a range of medications to eliminate bacteria that may stem the onset of more serious gum disease. • Pedodontics (Dentistry for your Kids)
  We understand that children need to feel secure and safe and parents need to understand the details of their child's dental health. Our staff has worked with hundred of kids and their parents to provide dental care for the entire family. We have found that providing care for the entire family helps in the encouragement of dental health. Where specialist care is needed we use a team that is in close proximity to the office.
• Oral Surgery (Surgery within the Mouth)
  Sometimes it is necessary to extract a tooth. Although we do dental extractions at Ashburn Dental Care, it's always the last resort. Following extraction, we work with our patients to find the right prosthetic solution to restore the teeth to a healthy smile. Missing teeth is more than an issue of aesthetics, function and structure are also very important.. Maintaining adequate bone to increase the prosthetic options is always a priority.
• TMJ (Jaw Joint Treatment)
  We are here to consult with you about TMJ and can offer appliances such as Night Guards to help reduce the pain and headaches that tend to come from Jaw problems. Stress and bite problems often are the root cause of this and we investigate these to help find a solution.  Sport Bite Guards can also be fabricated to provide protection for your teeth.
